	I was honored to gather the International Peace Light from Joe Reding at Sam Houston Area Council in Houston on December 9. I transported the Light to Huntsville TX that evening and shared it with SHAC Troop 114 at their Court of Honor on December 14. Our JASM, SPL, and one of our ASPLs shared the story with their pastor; as a result, one of the largest churches in town will use the Peace Light to light their Christ candle during worship this Sunday. 	Sharing the Peace Light with Scouts from 27 Group, Halcones del Regio Monte in Monterrey, Mexico

	For three weeks I've been sharing the Peace Light flame with the 15 students in my class - one per day. After each child takes the Peace Light pledge, I light his/her candle and s/he then draws a burning candle on the back blackboard before leading the whole class in singing "Let There Be Peace on Earth." On Friday, our last day of school before vacation, we carried the Peace Light flame to all the other classes in the school. Gretchen Osgood

	Boy Scout Troop 649 and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church shared the Peace Light from Bethlehem at a beautiful ceremony in Columbia, Maryland on Saturday, 19 December. Over 200 candles lit from the Peace Light were carried in a procession into the church, where the Peace Light flame also glowed in candles and lanterns surrounding the alter, in the Advent Wreath, and ringing the church throughout the special candlelight Mass. Columbia scouts were joined by a PLAST Ukrainian scout from Washington DC.

	This is Ayian Khan of Pack 48 from Faith Lutheran Church in Clive Iowa. He and his tiger den came to Iowa Religious Media Services in Urbandale last Thursday for a photo shoot and interview with one of the columnists from the Des Moines Register. The columnist spend almost an hour with the scouts. It will be interesting to see what the story looks like. This photo ran in the Des Moines Register on Sunday 12/20/15 and a story and more photos are scheduled to run on Tuesday or Wednesday.

	Sometimes I get updates from outside North America: Lithuanian Scouts & Guides share the Peace Light with Latvian Scouts & Guides. Latvian Scouts and Guides share the Peace Light with Estonian Guides.

	On December 20, 2015, Ukrainian Scouts from Plast shared the Peace Light with St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

	Polish Brownie and Cub Scout troop “Krokusy” - Crocuses- share the Peace Light with the Parishioners of Sr. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Staten Island NY

	Our son Roman (Ukrainian Plast Scouts ) brought the Piece Light to Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church in Chicago,IL on December 18. Here some pictures. Thank you. Julia Artymovych

	Today the Peace Light was received by the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, located in Villa Maria, Pennsylvania, on the OH/PA border. The light was distributed from the BSA Greater Western Reserve Council, Warren OH. It is residing in our Eucharistic Chapel - the two candles side by side in the picture.

	Sharon Strohmaier of Iowa Religious Media Services in Urbandale watched Boy Scout Jacob Storey of Dallas Center light a candle from the Peace Light lantern at IRMS in 2011. More photos and a very nice story are available here: Bethlehem's light catches on in Iowa The Des Moines Register

	These are some of the lights lit from my Peace Light lantern at the historic Josey Boy Scout Lodge on December 14 when I shared the Peace Light with my Troop. Karla Christian, Coordinator for Huntsville Texas area.

	11/28/2015 – Plast Ukrainian Scouting Org – Hartford Branch transported BPL from JFK north into New England. We met Carey Kenyon, scout leader from New Hampshire in Vernon, CT who traveled back home with a stop in Worcester, MA for additional transfers.
	11/29/2015 – West Hartford, CT – transfer to Polish Scouts based in New Britain, CT. They submitted photos from their service at Sacred Heart Church, New Britain CT
	12/12/2015 - St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church – Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organization – Hartford Branch shares with scouting members and Fr. Pawlo Martyniuk. The live flame will be maintained until our traditional Svichechka program on 1/10/2016 where we symbolically unite with other Ukrainian scouts around the world through the lighting of candles.
	12/12/2015 – Terryville, CT – St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church – Fr. Paul Luniw in his sermon recalled his pilgrimages to the Grotto of the Nativity where the Peace Light originates. Candle lighting followed the liturgy.
	12/23/2015 – West Hartford, CT - St. Thomas the Apostle School , West Hartford, CT – Christmas Prayer service.
	12/23/2015 – West Hartford, CT – St. Timothy Middle School – Prayer service – Christmas Prayer service. Nadia and Petro Gluch – Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organization – Hartford Branch

	The PeaceLight was brought by the Plast (Ukrainian Scouts) Chicago to Sophias Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 and received by Very Reverend Oleksiy Kasperuk and Boy scouts of Chicago. The Plast Scouts in the pictures are, Volodymyr Skyba and Danylo Sovgut; the Boy Scouts are: Vincenzo and Nicholas Scaletta.
