I wanted to just dash off a quick thank you for allowing us to obtain the Peace Light at your beautiful church ( Peterborough United Methodist Church) and wonderful congregation.
Our event at St. John Neumann Church in Freetown, Massachusetts we distributed over 100 Peace Lights and the following Monday one of our Scouts distributed a further 60 at the organization his grandmother works at (District Attorney’s office). I cannot think of a better example of youth ministry.
Here is the content of his grandmother’s e-mail: Good morning. Just wanted to let you know, Dominick and I have distributed almost 60 peace lights. Everyone in my office who I have given a candle too loved the idea and want to pass their light on. Dominick is giving his teachers all one today with the paper. Just wanted to thank you for giving the boys and adults an opportunity to experience this wonderful event and share a wonderful sign of peace.
We will continue our efforts next Christmas, and indeed I will expand those efforts to encompass our entire Diocese, and look forward to attending the service in Peterborough in 2016.

I was honored to gather the International Peace Light from Joe Reding at Sam Houston Area Council in Houston on December 9. I transported the Light to Huntsville TX that evening and shared it with SHAC Troop 114 at their Court of Honor on December 14. Our JASM, SPL, and one of our ASPLs shared the story with their pastor; as a result, one of the largest churches in town will use the Peace Light to light their Christ candle during worship this Sunday.

My name is Jennifer Heric. I am a mother of 5 children and a wife. I recently received the peace light at Queen of All Saints Parish, in Michigan City, Indiana. I am so grateful and honored to have received this gift for Christmas. I have shared this gift with others in my family and friends. Thank you for bringing this gift of light and hope as a representation of the True Light and the True Hope in Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas!
May God bless you and your efforts,
My name is Monica Martinez and thanks to one of our local boy scout troops, we received the peace light at last night’s bible study at St. Jude Catholic Church in Laredo, TX. It is so exciting and humbling to have it at my home. I am now sharing it with all of my friends and family!
My family was blessed with receiving the peace light and I am happy to have shared that light with my mother.
I am in Rochester, New Hampshire, and the peacelight came to my church last night, thanks to a Boy Scout
Thanks so much for making this possible.
I am going to try to share it with neighbors.
My name is Kathy Laudont and I am the secretary at St. Laurence School in Elgin, IL. We are very happy to be a part of such a wonderful program and feel honored to have such a special flame. Peace is very much needed in today’s world and we are very happy to pass it on. My husband, an Eagle Scout, received it from Zion United Methodist Church in Hampshire, IL. I have forwarded all of the information to our Cub Scout leader here at the school and she is very interested for our scout troop to participate next year. Again, thank you and a I would like to give a special mention to Joe Reding from Minnesota who brought it to Hampshire. We appreciate that he is willing to help your organization spread the peace.

On Dec. 9, I brought the Peace Light to Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI 54568.
In these times filled with violence, the Peace Light stands as a silent, but beautiful witness for the many persons throughout the world that share the dream of peace.

I have had the AMAZING experience of helping transport the Peace Light this week. I picked it up in Omaha on Monday, delivered it to Eastridge Presbyterian Church where it will be given out this evening

My family received the peace light this past Sunday after Mass at Queen of All Saints Church in Michigan City, IN 46360.
My mother received the light as well.
This weekend we plan to buy the eternal candles and share the Peace Light with family and friends.
We were thrilled to receive the peace light and pray by it each morning.
